BitSafe has released the infrastructure for builders launching decentralized financial applications on Canton.

Backed by a Canton Foundation Development Fund grant of over $1 million (8,500,000 CC), we’ve opened the public beta of Decentralization Manager, the open-source framework for distributing control across multiple independent operators.

Canton has become critical infrastructure for institutions bringing real capital and operations on-chain. Until now, meeting their standards for audit trails, distributed trust, and no single point of failure has meant every team rebuilding threshold custody, governance, and audit infrastructure from scratch. With the same infrastructure we used to launch CBTC, the first non-native asset on Canton, Decentralization Manager makes building and operating decentralized parties easy, with threshold custody, governance, and auditability built in. Independently audited by Quantstamp, it marks an expansion of what is possible on-chain: institutions can keep the privacy-native architecture of Canton while mitigating risk by distributing their operations.

Check out the repo on GitHub and read the docs to see how it works.

Start building, or put your nodes to work

Tell us what you're building and we'll help you get started. When you're ready, we'll match you with vetted node operators. Run a node? Register your interest and we'll connect you with the first wave of apps so you can earn passive income by joining decentralized parties.
